These terms are between Fundsure Ltd (Company number 12804657), trading as PRS Shield, registered at 3rd Floor, 45 Albemarle Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 4JL ("we", "us", "our") and the subscribing landlord ("you", "your").
PRS Shield provides compliance support tools for private landlords in England, including sanctions screening, Right to Rent verification, document storage, certificate tracking, and audit trail management.
PRS Shield is not a substitute for legal advice. Nothing in the portal constitutes legal advice. Fundsure Ltd is an HMRC-supervised firm under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 — supervision covers AML compliance activities only.
The SAR Decision Support Tool uses artificial intelligence to provide general decision support regarding Suspicious Activity Reports. Its output is indicative only and does not constitute legal advice, regulated advice, or a determination of your legal obligations. You should seek independent legal advice before submitting or deciding not to submit a Suspicious Activity Report to the National Crime Agency. Fundsure Ltd accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on the SAR Tool output alone.
Subscriptions are available on annual or monthly billing. Prices are as displayed at prs-shield.co.uk/pricing. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
All new subscriptions begin with a 28-day free trial. Your card will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.
Monthly subscriptions are subject to a 12-month minimum commitment from the date your free trial converts to a paid subscription. After 12 months, your subscription continues on a rolling monthly basis and may be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period.
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the 14-day cooling-off period. On cancellation, your access continues until the end of your current annual billing period.
You remain solely responsible for your legal compliance as a landlord. PRS Shield provides tools and records — it does not guarantee compliance outcomes. You must ensure that checks are conducted correctly and on time.
Records are retained for a minimum of 5 years, in accordance with HMRC AML record-keeping requirements. You can export and download your records at any time.
On cancellation, records remain accessible for the mandatory retention period, after which they are securely deleted.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
Subject to the above, Fundsure Ltd's total liability to you in connection with these Terms and the PRS Shield service shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including but not limited to: loss of profit, loss of business, fines or penalties imposed by any regulatory authority, or enforcement action taken against you by HMRC, OFSI, the Home Office, or any other body.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
